Who is responsible

You can reach us about anything on this page at info@pixelnode.digital. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not appointed one.

What this site collects on its own

Nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixel, and no cookie set by us. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading a page does not tell any font provider that you were here.

You can read this entire site without giving us anything.

Server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. Like any web host, it records standard technical logs when a page is requested: IP address, timestamp, the URL requested, the referring page and browser user agent.

We use these only to serve the site and to spot abuse or attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to build a profile of you, and they are kept only for the short period our host retains them.

Booking a call

The scheduler on our contact section is provided by Calendly LLC. It is deliberately not loaded when the page opens. It loads only if you scroll down to it, and if you never reach that section, nothing is requested from Calendly at all.

Once it loads, Calendly sets its own cookies and shows its own notice about them inside that panel. If you book a call, you give Calendly your name, email address, time zone and anything else you type into the booking form, and that information reaches us.

We use it to hold and prepare for the call you asked for. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Calendly acts as our processor for this.

If you email us

If you write to us, we receive whatever you choose to send: your name, email address, and the content of your message.

We use it to answer you and, if it turns into work, to run the project. The legal basis is again steps taken before or under a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries. We keep correspondence for as long as the enquiry or the business relationship is live, and afterwards only where we are required to. Slovak accounting and tax rules oblige us to retain certain records for up to ten years.

Transfers outside the EU

Vercel and Calendly are United States companies, so hosting and scheduling involve a transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area. Both are engaged under their standard data processing terms, which incorporate the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to someone else. You can object to processing we base on legitimate interest.

Email info@pixelnode.digital and we will answer within one month. There is no charge.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you are entitled to complain to the Slovak supervisory authority: Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.

Changes

If we ever add anything to this site that collects data, such as a contact form or analytics, we will update this page before it goes live and change the date at the top.
